Was down in Seagoville today at the John Bunker Sans Wetland Center to share tracking with a bunch of home schooled kids. We had an awesome time.

I attended a Wild Edibles class presented my Mark Sutor from Primitive Living Skills of Texas. (www.primitivetexas.com) I had a great time at this class. Wild Edibles are a weak spot in my outdoor and survival knowledge. Mark broke things down into common simp-le terms which I like. We also spent almost all of our class time outside  identifying,  and eating wild plants. I learn best from interaction so I gained a lot of confidence from attending this class. Mark also has a book out on the subject. Edible Wild Plants of Texas (non-woody species) is available on his website for  $49.99.  It is well worth the price. It’s hard to find books just for Texas that have the information you need and full of large high quality pictures to see the details.

I hope to see some of you at one of his future classes.
